The Cleveland Indians traded lefty CC Sabathia to the Milwaukee Brewers for a bunch of damn maybe's and what if's. This Indian organization will be the death of me. We have wasted so much talent since the early 90's, it's crazy. The Indians wouldn't have signed him in the off-season anyway. Nevertheless, they were a game away from the World Series last year and now this. Can this city please win a championship one day dammit, please.

Josh Cribbs vs. Devin Hester

Me and my people have this converation all the time about who is better between these two excellent football players. Of course, I feel Cribbs is the better player. I do see him play a lot more than Hester, so I'm a little bias about the situation. One true fact is that Josh led the team tackles on special teams as he was always the first player down to make a tackle on kicks and punts. To Hester's credit, he is about to break the all time TD mark for a returner on special teams, in his third season! Be sure to pay close attention to these two this upcoming NFL season.

R.I.P. Sean Taylor

I was thinking about this hit a few days ago and how he was criticized for drilling a punter in the Pro Bowl. However you look at it Taylor was a football player who played hard all the time. I love hard hitting, aggressive safeties. I grew up on Ronnie Lott and the late Eric Turner who played for my Browns. Listen to the reaction from foreign announcers and how they describe the play.

The NBA Is Fantastic

This is a great league we have here, these players are getting paid some real money this off season. It's really nothing new, but as a father and husband, who is scratching and clawing to live in this recession, looks up and see guys getting nine figure salaries, even when they came off of two injury plagued seasons, it amazes me. More power to these players though because if they throwing it out there, who would say no. Feed your family Gil, lol.
